CURRENT RATES
We offer flexible and affordable standard consultation rates, but nothing is "set in stone", and no work is ever started until you are completely informed of the total process and agree to any price. And, as always, if we cannot personally fix or improve your current situation, you will not be charged* (no matter how much time we have invested in your project). And if you're here looking for the price of malware removal and/or optimization of your teenager's laptop or tablet -- WE DO THAT -- and that service typically runs between $45 and $60.
Our standard current rates for customers are:
Residential/private - $60/hour
Commercial clients - $120/hour
Enterprise/Government - $180/hour
Minimum service charge - $45 flat
Remote Connections** - $60/1st hour, $60/addt'l hour
Our typical service calls run:
Malware removal - $45
Optimization/factory reset - $60
Hardware replacement/upgrade - Parts + $60
Building a custom computer - Parts + $100

All prices have included within them the New Mexico Gross Receipts Tax (Sales Tax) for our base location in Santa Fe County, currently 8.8125% (The second highest in the state! But, hey... we've got good roads here, and good schools, lower crime rates, and oh, wait no... never mind! It's just one of the highest in the state!) as of January 2024. And with new gross receipts tax regulations handed down from New Mexico Taxation and Revenue Department in 2021, now the tax collected will be based on where the product is sold or the service is performed, i.e. - we now have to collect taxes based on your location--anywhere from 7% to 9%--rather than ours. But this is just informational and nothing for the customer to worry about, as the tax is still embedded in the price charged and will only be detailed on your receipt or bill.
We accept cash, check, most major credit cards, PayPal, Venmo, Zelle, and sometimes (other), too.
